Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 (matric) or related NQF level 4 qualification
- 1 year experience in a similar role
- Competent in operating maintenance tools
- Basic knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety Act’s regulations relating to machinery.

Responsibilities
- The Auxiliary Nurse will be responsible for basic nursing care of a patient or group of patients and will provide care as determined and delegated by a nurse with at least three years of nursing education and training and will be supervised where there is no prescribed plan of care or set standards.
- This includes providing basic nursing care for the patient , with confidence, competence, and compassion, a s well as related c are of the patient’s possessions, documentation and the control and economical use of stock and equipment in the ward.
