Minimum Requirements
- in the cleaning and maintenance of the yard/site.
- Basic knowledge of construction practices to perform duties safely and avoid injury.
- Knowledge of the Occupational Health and Safety Act.
Responsibilities
- General responsibilities - Performs general manual tasks upon instruction
- Specific work activities - Keeps workplace / work area / tools / equipment neat, clean and tidy
- General Authorities.
- Adheres to SHE policies and procedures.
- Communication and Stakeholder Management.
- Must have the necessary physical stamina to execute the duties of an assistant.
- Basic knowledge of construction practices to perform duties safely and avoid injury.
- Physical and mental ability to work at heights.
- Basic understanding and communication in English
- Awareness of work procedures
- Basic understanding of safety rules and regulations
- Knowledge of the Occupational Health and Safety Act.
- Good interpersonal relationships
- Ability to work in a team environment
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Deadline driven.
- Be able to work under pressure successfully.
- Willing to travel to various sites and work away from home for extended periods of time
- Area of specialization:To follow the instructions of the supervisor, team leader and /or foreman and perform construction work safely and efficiently.
