Minimum Requirements
- B Degree/ B Tech/ Advanced Diploma in Electrical Engineering at NQF 7 with 360 credits
- 7 years’ experience in Power systems operations
- Professional Registration Body: Engineering Council of South Africa ECSA

- Sound knowledge of Phoenix and Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) system
- Fundamental knowledge of electrical networks
- Intermediate knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Act, operational guidelines, standards and procedures
- Basic knowledge of documentation management and business management system principles
Responsibilities
- Manage outage projects.
- Assess outage risks.
- Manage safe access to Transmission high voltage (HV) plant.
- Ensure safe environment for the leadership.
- Provide reports
- Trustworthiness
- Professionalism
- Coordinate and guide multiple groups from different business units across vast geographical areas.
- Interface with different discipline to ensure cohesive completion of documents.
- Sound knowledge of Phoenix and Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) system
- Fundamental knowledge of electrical networks
- Intermediate understand of the power system
- Intermediate knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Act, operational guidelines, standards and procedures
